The acquisition of Cirruseo is an important step forward for the company's growth strategy in France as it brings an expert team of Google Cloud specialists to Accenture. Accenture is planning to acquire Cirruseo, a French Google Cloud Platform service provider. The imminent deal is yet to receive various approvals and its financial terms have not been revealed. Established in 2011, Cirruseo has 100 professionals that provide consulting and implementation services for Google Cloud Platform and G Suite Solutions and have assisted over 600 clients. For the record, in mid-2018, Accenture had launched the Accenture Google Cloud Business Group through which the two companies collaborated in the development of services and software that provide data-driven insights to customers. The Cirruseo acquisition seems to fit the same strategy and is specifically meant for Europe. The firm's expertise permits customers to analyze increasing data volumes and set up hyper-personalized client experiences with safe architectures. According to reports, Olivier Girard, Geographic Unit MD forBenelux and France, Accenture, was quoted to say that the acquisition of Cirruseo is an important step forward for the company's growth strategy in France as it brings an expert team of Google Cloud specialists to Accenture. He added that combining Cirruseo's expertise in Google Cloud technologies with Accenture's proficiency in cybersecurity, digital marketing and artificial intelligence would enhance Accenture's ability to help clients with digital transformations through end-to-end service offering. Bhaskar Ghosh, group chief executive at Accenture Technology Services said, Cirruseo's acquisition will demonstrate Accenture's commitment to invest in the capabilities and skills required to help its clients in applying technologies necessary to accelerate innovation and attain business outcomes. Cirruseo's co-founder and CEO, Hervé Romain, said since the demand for Google Cloud services is increasing rapidly, connecting with Accenture will give the company a chance to help more firms receive the benefits of Google Cloud for driving innovation technologies along with Accenture's industry knowledge. He added that experience in global cloud initiatives will help Cirruseo to bring distinguished end to end services to the market.
