The Indian e-commerce giant Flipkart has reportedly partnered with Nokia Corporation to launch a new range of air conditioners in the nation. Starting from December 29, the new line of air conditioners will become available on the company’s e-commerce platform at a starting price of INR 30,999.
Sources cite that the new line of air conditioners will be equipped with tons of new features like intelligent motion sensors and 6-in-1 filters. These products will also be equipped with smart features that allow consumers to use their smartphone as a remote and numerous convenience features including multiple schedulers, clean reminders, tailored user profiles, and smart diagnosis.
Speaking on which, Dev Iyer, Vice President for Private Brands at Flipkart said that the company is excited to strengthen its partnership with Nokia to bring ‘Made-in-India’ air conditioners to consumers. Over the last few years, the company has launched top-quality products, on the back of its deep consumer understanding, to bring products that are tailored as per the Indian consumers’ needs.
Flipkart’s air conditioners feature low vibration motors, self-cleaning technology, environment-friendly R-32 refrigerant, intelligent motion sensors, WiFi connection for smart control, and noiseless operations. These products work in a voltage range of 145-265V and offer stabilizer free operations. All these features ensure that these products offer an exceptional experience that goes beyond just cooling.
Evidently, this isn’t the first time that the Indian e-commerce firm has partnered with Nokia to introduce a smart home appliance in the nation. In 2020, the two firms partnered to introduce a new line of 43-inch smart TVs in the nation. Recently, the two firms introduced the Nokia PureBook X14 laptop in India, which is available for INR 59, 990.
