New hinting on Windows 8, Microsoft shows its eyes on Apple as Microsoft plans to launch the Microsoft Windows 8 in 2012.
This news was released from a Microsoft blog in Dutch on October 22nd, 2010. During the pre-Consumer Electronics Show keynote, Microsoft’s CEO announced that Windows 8 will also run on ARM CPUs. Since ARM CPUs are usually in the form of SOCs found in mobile devices, this new announcement implies that Windows 8 will be more compatible with mobile devices such as netbooks, tablet personal computers, and smartphones.
Microsoft has been paying close attention to Apple. In some documents, which appear to come from the conference in April with computer developers, Microsoft discusses its Cupertino, Calif.-based rival and outlines plans to offer a Windows Store similar to the way Apple distributes software on its
iPhone. The documents, which Microsoft has declined to comment on or authenticate, also talk about plans to give Windows a more iPad-like response time through new power management settings.
Microsoft is trying to compete with Apple and it feels when this comes to show that it will be better than Apple, especially with their new developments on their new Microsoft store and the companies game-plan to be similar to Apples is in focus now.
Microsoft Windows 8 is going to be our future computer software.
