Palo Alto Networks Inc. introduces cloud security suite Prisma

The security suite already has around 9,000 enterprise users, which makes Palo Alto the world's largest cloud security business.
Palo Alto Networks, Inc. has reportedly announced that it has introduced a latest, comprehensive cloud security suite called Prisma, designed to constantly secure data, protect applications and administer access.
Reportedly, companies can securely connect mobile users and office branches to the cloud, increase security across multi-cloud deployments and enable SaaS adoption with a cloud access security broker with the use of Prisma. It already has around 9,000 enterprise users, which makes Palo Alto the world's largest cloud security business.
Lee Klarich, Chief Product Officer, Palo Alto, reportedly stated that the company offers complete visibility and suggested configurations throughout the cloud environment to the users to ensure a strong security posture from the start and consistently prevent attacks.
Currently, the major focus for the Palo Alto is securing the cloud, ensuring enterprise security and offering security with its AI-powered platform Cortex. Over the previous year, the cybersecurity firm has designed its cloud security abilities with thepurchase of Evident.io and the cloud security startup RedLock.
For the record, Prisma Accessensures secure access to the cloud for mobile users and branch offices anywhere in the world with a cloud-native and scalable architecture. It will be launched soon on Google Cloud Platform, expanding the service to over 100 locations for a more localized and faster experience. It features an efficient cloud management UI for quick onboarding of users and branches. It also features abilities specially built up for service providers to allow the quick provisioning of secure outbound internet connectivity for their users.
For the uninitiated,Prisma SaaSis a multi-mode cloud access security broker (CASB) service which enables safe adoption of SaaS application. It offers advanced threat prevention, advanced capabilities in risk discovery, data loss prevention, adaptive access control, compliance assurance, user behavior monitoring, and data governance.
