Sony is reportedly planning to launch the PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition in the United States, New Zealand, Australia, Mexico, Korea, Japan, and Canada on 12th November. These consoles will later be made available across the globe from 19th November.
The PS5 will be priced at $499.99 (nearly ₹36,800) in the U.S., £449.99 (nearly ₹43,000) in the UK, €499.99 (nearly ₹43,500) in Europe, AU$749.95 (nearly ₹40,300) in Australia, and ¥49,980 (nearly ₹35,000) in Japan. On the other hand, the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition will be available at $399.99 (nearly ₹29,500) in the US, £359.99 (nearly ₹34,400) in the UK, €399.99 (nearly ₹34,800) in Europe, AU$599.95 (nearly ₹32,300) in Australia, and ¥39,980 (nearly ₹28,000) in Japan.
The prices of the products for the Indian market have not been revealed yet. However, the users can sign up for new information on retail sites such as Flipkart, Amazon, Reliance Digital, Sony Center, and Croma.
The prices of these consoles were announced recently at the PlayStation 5 Showcase virtual event. In case of product specifications, the PS5 has a disc drive. Moreover, the console has the same CPU as that of the Xbox Series, having the same GPU with a few compute units but a higher clock speed.
In addition to these consoles, Sony has announced the prices of PS5 controllers as well as other accessories. Its extra DualSense Wireless Controller will cost $69.99 (nearly ₹5,200), ¥6,980 (nearly ₹4,900), and €69.99 (nearly ₹6,100). Furthermore, the Pulse 3D wireless headset will be available at the price of $99.99 (nearly ₹7,400), ¥9,980 (nearly ₹7,000), and €99.99 (nearly ₹8,700). The PlayStation HD Camera will be priced at $59.99 (nearly ₹4,500), ¥5,980 (nearly ₹4,200), and €59.99 (nearly ₹5,300), while the Media Remote will be available at $29.99 (nearly ₹2,200), ¥2,980 (nearly ₹2,100), and €29.99 (nearly ₹2,600). Additionally, the DualSense Charging Station will cost $29.99 (nearly ₹2,200), ¥2,980 (nearly ₹2,100), and €29.99 (nearly ₹2,600).
