Verizon adds LG 5G smartphone to its Ultra Wideband 5G network

LG V-series offers improved video, camera and display technology that is packed in to a slim, powerful smartphone.
Verizon, the American telecommunications company, recently announced that LG's first 5G smartphone, the LG V50 ThinQ 5G will soon be joining Verizon's Ultra Wideband, the 5G network of the company. Other smartphones like Motorolamoto z3 and Samsung Galaxy S10 5G already run on Verizon's 5G Ultra Wideband network.
Brian Higgins, VP, Verizon wireless device and product marketing, has made an official statement to say that as Verizon launches its 5G Ultra Wideband in nearly 30 U.S. cities in 2019, the company wants to ensure that its customers have a choice of 5G smartphones. He added that 5G smartphones function best when they are capably supported by the network they are on and that Verizon's 5G Ultra Wideband network is designed to carry an enormous amount of data for a massive number of simultaneous users as well as to provide significantly faster download speeds than 4G networks.
Sources close to the matter report that LG's V-series offers improved video, camera and display technology that is packed in to a slim, powerful smartphone ideal for entertainment connoisseurs, mobile professionals and content creators.
According to the official statement by Verizon, its 5G Ultra Wideband network can seamlessly complement V50 ThinQ 5G, enabling instant video streaming on its immersive 6.4-inch display. It can also enable high-definition video uploads to social channels within seconds or quickly email large presentations.
LG V50 ThinQ 5G will be offered by Verizon from summer 2019.
