Vu Televisions has recently launched new models to its 4K smartTVs range in 4 sizes, i.e. 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch, in India. The price of these models ranges from Rs.25,999 to Rs.48,999. The new TVs include a backlight controller, with a 40% enhanced brightness and ultra-edge 4K display.
The new models feature Pro Picture Calibration, which will enable the users to have technical controls including noise reduction, gamma correction, color temperature, and HDMI dynamic range. Its sound feature, Upbeat Surround, on the Vu Ultra 4K TV offers an immersive experience to viewers. It also features Parental Block that will provide parents the ability to control what their children are watching while at home.
The 4K TV models have 3,840 x 2,160 pixels resolution, Direct LED display, and 400 nits of brightness. These models also come with high-performance optical film that enhances the viewing angle through the screen by controlling the light entering through its backlight LED. The display consists of HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma), HDR10, and Dolby Vision standards. These features help improve the color details, sharpness, depth, as well as black & white level by lowering the contrast and color accuracy. These enhance the viewing experience by ensuring clarity, even in dark areas.
The TV models have DTS Virtual and Dolby Digital+ for the audios, with 30W box speakers. The TVs also come with various audio modes, including late Night, Music, Sports, Theater, and Standard. These smart devices run on Google OS (operating system), Android 9.0 Pie, and offer access to Google apps. Google Assistant has also been included in the new models, with support for voice search in Hindi and English languages. Pre-installed apps on these TVs are YouTube, Hotstar, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video.
Vu’s 4K smarTVs have a quad-core processor and Mali-470 GPU, with 2GB RAM & 16GB internal storage. Connectivity options include an Ethernet port, AV input, RF analogue port, optical audio, an earphone jack, two USB inputs, three HDMI ports, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and Google Chrome Cast.
